The Blend
Bert’s Blend is a journey through three coffees that each bring something different to the table. From the rolling hills of Cerrado, Brazil comes a smooth, chocolatey coffee that creates the foundation of the blend. Known for its warm climate, consistent harvests, and approachable profile, the region produces coffees that are comforting, balanced, and easy to drink.
From the mountains of Tarrazú, Costa Rica, honey processed coffee adds sweetness and structure to the blend. Grown at high elevations in rich volcanic soil, Tarrazú coffees are known for their clean character and caramel-like sweetness. The honey process helps preserve natural sugars from the fruit, giving the cup a smooth body and layered sweetness.
Finally, coffees from Ethiopia’s Guji region bring the blend to life with a subtle fruit-forward brightness. Grown by smallholder farmers at high elevations and carefully dried on raised beds, Guji coffees are celebrated for their vibrant character, floral aromatics, and juicy fruit notes that add complexity without overpowering the cup.
